Description: Sometimes paintings don’t work out the way I want them to (no surprise there!), so I paint over them. This little ship was a cup and saucer, and was created as part of a 3 piece set. And even though it’s not a cup and saucer any more, I feel it still belongs to this grouping. You see, to me it’s still a cup of coffee. It’s just a cup of coffee with a little added bonus escape! I’m sailing away on a rainbow waterway, on my hippy-flowery boat, to wherever my daydream takes me. It’s a happy place and I’m happy to get away, even if it’s just for as long as it takes me to finish my morning coffee.
